JXD 392 Micro Quadcopter

Written by Qpzm on July 24, 2014.

I picked up a JXD 392 from Banggood for under 50 bucks. It's a fun little quad with 3 speed buttons. It's got a .3 megapixel camera which adds some excitement when you take it down to the park and see your suburb from a different perspective.

It's really fun to fly, and while it can take a pounding, if it hits the ground hard the wrong way, like on one of the propeller feet, it might break.

But that's ok becuase you can buy the entire Quadcopter as spare parts as well from Banggood too.

As usual the blades on these things are pretty flaky, you get a spare set but I recommend you buy a couple more. They are cheap as chips and you can get them here.

The other great thing about these is you can buy the entire Quad in parts, so when you crash and break it, which you will, you can always replace the broken parts.

Here is a video taken from the JXD 392 the 2nd time I flew it.

While I wouldn't be filming the Grand Final or Super Bowl with this Quad, considering it's size and cost, it is still pretty damn good.

A great first quad.

I've ordered a Hubsan H107D FPV, I'll review and demo that once it arrives.
